Who We Are

Dartmouth Players is powered by the creativity and commitment of our volunteer board. These individuals work behind the scenes to make sure our theatre remains a welcoming space for artists, audiences, and stories of all kinds.

Bryn Rowlands, President

Bryn Rowlands has a passion for community theatre in general and Dartmouth Players in particular. He has been associated with Dartmouth Players since 2003, having acted in, directed, stage managed and designed and built sets for scores of productions. He was also on the DP executive in the late 2000’s and has recently returned to the fold to help complete the transition from our beloved Sawmill Theatre, through temporary facilities, and finally, to a full, viable community theatre at Stairs Memorial United Church, our venerable and welcoming host and partner in North Dartmouth. He acknowledges and thanks his predecessor Zach Melanson for stewarding this daunting and successful transition.

C’mon down to Dartmouth Players and enjoy and/or contribute to the artistry that our hard working team has to offer!
